For the latest cover of Ms. Hollywood Magazine, Dr. Pilar Scratch steps into the spotlight as more than a celebrity stylist. She represents the modern New York creative: part fashion architect, part entrepreneur, part television personality, part publisher, and, perhaps most importantly, a devoted mother and Momager to her son, River Mason Eromosele. Her story is one of reinvention, ambition and a relentless commitment to creating her own lane.

Scratch's fashion journey began with a literal "from scratch" mentality. While attending college, she recalls creating her first collection using unconventional materials, including curtains, sheets, blankets and pillowcases. Her creativity eventually led her to an internship at the studio of legendary costume designer Patricia Field, an experience that helped introduce her to the professional fashion world and the energy of New York's fashion and entertainment industry.

From there, Scratch established herself within the celebrity styling scene, developing a client history that has included names such as Kim Kardashian, Musiq Soulchild, Rah Digga, Stevie J, Jim Jones, Amara La Negra, DJ Enuff and Afro B, among others. Her work has extended across music, television, red carpets, editorial fashion and entertainment, giving her a unique perspective on the relationship between clothing and celebrity identity.

Her career eventually expanded beyond the styling rack. Scratch became a recognizable television personality, making appearances on programs and entertainment platforms including Dr. Oz, What Not to Wear, E! WAGS, TMZ and VH1's Love & Hip Hop NYC. Her work has also earned recognition within the entrepreneurial and fashion communities, including being reported as a Forbes 30 Under 30 nominee.

Calling Scratch a "fashion architect" is more than a stylish description. Her career demonstrates an understanding that fashion is not simply about clothing; it is about constructing an identity. An architect considers structure, proportion, materials, environment and the experience of the finished space. Scratch approaches fashion in much the same way. A garment becomes part of a larger story. Jewelry becomes punctuation. Hair, accessories, silhouette and attitude become architectural elements. The finished look becomes a character.

That philosophy is reflected in Scratch's own personal style. Her aesthetic often combines polished glamour with unexpected edge, allowing her to move between luxury, street influence, celebrity culture and classic sophistication without becoming confined to one category. Rather than simply following trends, Scratch has built a visual language around individuality and confidence. Her approach is less about asking what is currently popular and more about asking what can be done with fashion to create a memorable moment.

That is also part of what has made her a recognizable presence in New York's fashion culture. New York has never officially crowned an "It Girl." The city simply decides who belongs in the conversation. Scratch's relationship with the city stretches across years of styling, celebrity culture, television, fashion events, entrepreneurship and publishing. She has built her career in the exact environment where fashion, entertainment, media and business collide.

Her New York story is ultimately one of self-creation. Scratch did not wait for someone to give her a platform. She built one. In 2015, she founded Fashion Gxd Magazine, taking on the role of Editor-in-Chief and creating a publication centered around entrepreneurs, celebrities and creatives. Through the magazine, Scratch has continued to develop a platform that reflects her belief in visibility, individuality and the power of personal branding.

Her evolution into luxury entrepreneurship has taken that vision even further. Her jewelry brand, Maison Pilar, represents another stage in the Scratch story. Rather than simply styling the people who wear fashion, she is now creating pieces designed to become part of their personal style. The expansion of Maison Pilar into luxury retail, including plans reported for Saks Fifth Avenue, demonstrates how Scratch continues to evolve from stylist to designer and from designer to brand builder.

Yet behind all of the titles—stylist, designer, author, publisher, television personality and entrepreneur—is another role that remains central to her identity: mother.

Scratch is also known for being a momager to her son, River Mason Eromosele, whose own career has developed across acting, modeling and entertainment. River's credits and appearances have included work connected to John Legend, Evil Lives Here, The Good Fight, commercials and modeling campaigns. His entertainment résumé includes an appearance in John Legend's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" music video, along with other television and modeling work.

River's career has grown alongside his mother's, creating a distinctive mother-and-son creative partnership. Pilar has been involved not only as a parent but as a mentor and manager, helping guide River through the worlds of entertainment, fashion and publishing. Their relationship has also extended into authorship, with the pair associated with inspirational and children's books, including The Sky Is The Limit.

River's accomplishments have received recognition of their own. Published biographical materials have documented his work in modeling and acting as well as recognition from the Global Child Prodigy Association in 2022. The journey of Pilar and River illustrates a modern version of family legacy—one in which creativity, entrepreneurship and ambition are developed together.

Pilar's own academic background adds another layer to the story. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration, complementing a career that has moved fluidly between fashion, media, entrepreneurship and entertainment. It is this combination of creativity and business thinking that has allowed her to continuously expand rather than remain defined by a single profession.

For Ms. Hollywood Magazine, the cover represents more than another glamorous fashion image. It captures a woman whose career has continued to evolve without abandoning its original foundation: creativity, individuality and the courage to create something where nothing previously existed.

Dr. Pilar Scratch represents a generation of fashion entrepreneurs who refuse to stay in one lane. She is a stylist who became a publisher, a publisher who became a television personality, a mother who became a momager, an entrepreneur who became a designer, and a New York creative who continues to build her own definition of luxury and influence.

She does not simply dress celebrities. She understands the power of image. She does not simply manage a career. She builds a legacy. And she does not simply participate in New York's fashion conversation. She has spent years creating her own chapter within it.

For Pilar Scratch, the work is still being built. And if her career is any indication, the architecture is far from finished.
